AG, NG, & MD's Amazing, Fantastic, Excellent, Groundbreaking, Never-before-seen Slideventure
This is the first Action Project of the last STEAM class of my sophomore year, Cure. We have been learning about vaccines, and how to determine if they are effective, along with how diseases spread, and strategies to mitigate them. We split into groups of three to make puzzles that challenge the player to solve a fictional public health crisis. My group chose to make a choose-your-own-adventure slideshow centered around an outbreak of H1N1 flu at a factory farm in Iowa. You can try it yourself below.
This slideshow was interesting and challenging to put together, and it was great to have the opportunity to work with my classmates. You can check out AG's reflection here, and NG's reflection here. We tested out puzzles with another group in class playing ours, and us playing theirs. You can check out their puzzle here. We went through multiple rounds of editing to get to the point we got to, and I am proud of my groups work.
